Welcome to HostMyEvent.com. My name is Leslie Ramos, and I am its founder.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in hospitality, customer service, sales, leadership, and business ownership. No matter the position, one principle has always remained true:
Kindness, care, and quality service have value.
Some of the happiest moments of my career were spent in hospitality. There is something deeply rewarding about serving others and helping them feel special. I have watched people come together for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, family gatherings, business milestones, and many other meaningful occasions.
Those experiences taught me that hospitality is about more than providing a service. It is about creating memories, strengthening relationships, and making people feel genuinely cared for.
Over the years, I have also watched technology change how people discover and interact with businesses.
Finding information became easier.
Building meaningful relationships became harder.
Technology has connected us to more information, but it has not always helped us connect with one another. That is one of the reasons I created HostMyEvent.com.
Our mission is simple:
To help people celebrate life's moments while creating opportunities for the event venues and vendors who make those celebrations possible.
We are building more than an event directory. HostMyEvent is a community and marketplace where members can confidently find venues, vendors, services, and inspiration—all in one place.
It is also a place where businesses can tell their stories, showcase everything they offer, create packages and promotions, accept bookings, build relationships, and earn customers for life.
We believe trust is earned through every interaction. When a business provides kindness, care, and quality service, one transaction can become a lasting professional relationship.
